Most recently we have secured planning permission for development of 25 residential units and an adjacent heliport with café and museum. This is to be located in the countryside just south of Dollar and will reclaim an old mine known as Solsgirth. At the time of pursuing the development the site was not identified in the Development Plan.

Through intense negotiation with the planners for the area we were able to identify a scheme which met with their aspirations. Their support became so strong that they agreed to allocate the site for development and then grant planning consent all within 12 months of the site's first identification by ourselves. This is a perfect example of how we have the ability to add considerable value to land which may not have had any potential identified by other parties.

In a similar vein, in March of this year we achieved planning consent for a hotel in Dundee adjacent to the airport. This was an employment site outside the town centre, and once again, through innovation and carefully targeted negotiation with planners and politicians, we realised the development potential which other developers had failed to identify.

We have recreated a new build Georgian town house set on the High Street of Dollar within the conservation area and adjacent a listed building. The building was designed in agreement with the local architectural society and used the high quality materials throughout.

We work in a formal partnership with Kingdom Housing Association to build approximately 30 affordable houses a year, combining public and private finance.

We have secured and developed Local Plan housing allocations of over 600 housing units within the last three years and have achieved an average uplift of 50% over the housing numbers indicated in the plans.

We are working in partnership with Fife Council, a local golf club and several land owners to deliver a strategic housing development of 1800 houses at Lochgelly along with a new golf course, school and other community facilities.
